For the last few months, the entire team at iBiology has been working very hard on a secret project. We are releasing a new online course in June 2020. We are very excited and can't wait to share it with you!
For now, this is what we can tell you; the 2020 iBiology course will focus on what we do best: Science Communication, more precisely how to share your research with other scientists. The purpose of this online course is to help you give your best scientific talk. Our aim is that by the end of the course, you will have all the necessary tools and frameworks required to build and deliver an excellent scientific presentation.
Our team members and other amazing speakers will be sharing the tips and tricks that make them great storytellers and science communicators: how they do it, why they do it, and what drives them?
During this course, we will teach you about tailoring your talk to different crowds; defining your message, and goals; and keeping your audience engaged at all times. We will provide you with templates and tools to design head-turning slides. We will share insights into how we deal with our nervousness before and during talks and how we navigate the dreaded Q&A session and much much more.
