About This PODCAST!

We’re so excited to hear what you think of this podcast. It’s one of our first big experiments in audio content production and the topic is one that personally resonates with us. Everyone on the podcast team has stories of how mentors have changed their lives, for the better and the worse. And we’ve created a series of episodes that many of us wished we could have listened to when we were in research training. We’re hoping this podcast fills a gap that maybe you didn’t even know you had.

“The Trainee Podcast: Build Your Research Community,” is the second part of our “Build Your Research Community” online course on mentoring relationships in science. This podcast covers advanced topics in mentor-mentee relationships so that you can work with your PI in the most effective way possible. There are 7 episodes and 12 experts on mentor-mentee relationships. The episodes are:

The Trainee Podcast is an on-demand, self-paced course. This means that, as soon as you enroll (and the course has started), all course content is available to you and may be consumed at your own pace. You will receive an iBiology Courses Certificate of Completion if you pass the course.
